Knitters, crocheters, spinners, and felters will all find something perfect for them.

Kawartha Yarn & Fibre Festival is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive space for local vendors and fibre artists to connect and share in their passion for creating handmade and unique pieces. We focus on supporting small businesses and creating space for up-and-coming independent businesses to share their vision with fibre artists who support their work.

Book Launch & Book Signing Event. Book launch event for the children’s book: The New Adventure of Ms. Maggie by Peterborough author, Margot Van Sluytman. Connor and Emma her two youngest grandchildren did the artwork for this book.This is a story about adventure, including the hard journeys of leaving of loss and of growth.
