Youth Sprint Canoe/Kayak CampsRegistration is now open for Peterborough Canoe & Kayak Club’s Youth Camps.
Week‑long, full‑day camps for ages 7–13 run throughout July, starting July 6. Campers enjoy a mix of on‑water and off‑water fun led by qualified Coaches — including Team Canada Canoeist, Zoe Bergeron.
Beginner‑friendly and exciting for experienced paddlers, too. Sprint paddling isn’t cottage paddling — it’s fast, fun, and confidence‑building.
Regatta opportunities available for those who want to try racing.
Looking for more challenge? Check out our Youth High‑Performance Program (ages 10–18), running Mon/Wed/Fri, 9–11am. Train for sprint races or use it as cross‑training — expect a great workout with both on‑water and dryland sessions, with Head Coach Zoe Bergeron (Certified Personal Trainer).

Music by the Dock in Rosedale The Residents of Rosedale are once again presenting Music by the Dock events throughout the summer. This Saturday, July 11 from 7-9pm, we are pleased to present 'Grumble Glen Productions'! This duo, Pat and Steve Zahorec, are Rosedale residents but you may have heard them singing in locations around the area. They sing catchy tunes that you would know from the decades and cover many genres. So come and tap your toes or sing along!
The music is by donation. A Free Snack will be provided by the Residents of Rosedale. Pat and Steve will also be selling Steve's Sweet Nuts with the proceeds going towards Breast Cancer Research.
These events take place in the Rosedale Parkette, on the north shore of the Trent Canal. Just turn off Hwy 35, head to the Canal -the Parkette is next to the highway bridge and the Government Dock. There is ample docking if you wish to come by boat and plenty of car parking. Bring a chair, sit under the trees and enjoy the tunes! 07:00pm - 09:00pm
