This week's Pet of the Week is Hunter, a beautiful 12 year old black and white long-haired cat with a personality that's larger than life. Hunter is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and has received deworming and preventative veterinary care. Now, all she's waiting for is a loving family to spend her golden years with.
Hunter is incredibly friendly and loves being around people. She'll happily follow you around the room, keep you company while you're busy, and carry on a conversation throughout the day. She's quite the chatterbox and isn't shy about letting you know when she'd like a little extra attention or a few head scratches. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, her affectionate, sweet, and playful personality quickly shines through.
Although Hunter enjoys spending time with her people, she's also independent and knows how to keep herself entertained. She loves climbing cat trees, exploring her surroundings, batting around toys, and stretching out on a scratching post. No matter what she's doing, though, she always likes to stay close to her human companions.
Hunter would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a cat with plenty of personality. She's the kind of cat who doesn't simply share your home-she becomes part of your daily routine, keeps you smiling with her silly antics, and quickly becomes your best friend.
When it comes to other cats, Hunter would prefer to have her home all to herself. She enjoys being the centre of attention and would thrive as the only feline in the household, where she can soak up all the love she deserves.
