Powerful Tools for Caregivers
This free 6-week workshop is designed to support family caregivers of individuals with chronic health conditions. The interactive program helps caregivers reduce stress, avoid burnout, and develop essential self-care skills. It focuses on the caregiver's well-being, offering tools to thrive in the caregiving role. Open to caregivers at any stage of their journey, the workshop is not intended for paid or formal caregivers. Toddler Tuesday at the Peterborough Museum
Little ones and their caregivers are welcome to join us each Tuesday morning for a drop-in, tot-friendly Museum visit! This unstructured program allows children to play their way through the galleries, with opportunities to explore their senses, create art and make new friends along the way. Winter/Spring toddler Tuesday sessions start on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 and will go to June 24th. Stop in from 9:30 am to 12 noon. More>>

Moms in Motion - Free Perinatal Education Session
Register here for a free educational session on health and wellness during pregnancy and postpartum. Learn from healthcare professionals and discover how our upcoming Moms in Motion exercise program can support you—and how to register for it.
Moms in Motion is an 8-week small group exercise program for pregnant and postpartum individuals, developed in partnership with the Peterborough Child and Family Centres, and will be offered free of charge thanks to the CareMakers Foundation grant.
Attendees will also be entered in a draw for a 1 Hour Massage at Trent Health in Motion.

- Pelvic Floor Basics - What it is and Why it matters
- Common pelvic health concerns in pregnancy and postpartum
- The role of pelvic physiotherapy
- Exercise Myths, Benefits, and Guidelines
- Strength training during pregnancy
- Safe return to fitness postpartum
- Moms in Motion: Why We Created It, What It’s All About, and How to Sign Up

4th Annual Kawartha Karnival
Kawartha Gymnastics is hosting its 4th Annual Kawartha Karnival, and it’s open to the entire community, including both members and non-members. This family-friendly fundraising event will feature carnival games with prizes, inflatables, bouncy castles, face painting, crafts, a petting zoo, raffles, food, treats, music, and more. Activities operate on a ticket system, with most costing between 1-3 tickets ($1 per ticket). All proceeds will support Kawartha gymnastics programs and purchase new equipment, making it a fun way to give back while enjoying a day full of festivities. More>>
